CHRISTINA EDKINS R.I.P

Christina Edkins, 16, was killed in an apparently random attack just minutes after getting on the bus she caught to school every morning.

Horrified commuters tried to save her life but she died in the arms of one of the passengers as other pupils looked on in tears.

Less than a month before her death, Christina had posted a message on Twitter mentioning a “strange man” on her bus.

She wrote: “This man is worrying me on the bus keeps getting up and walking up and down stairs, and sitting in different place :|”

And on February 23, she tweeted: “Eughh hate catching buses, can’t wait to start driving.”

Detectives said last night they will be checking her social networking accounts but insisted there was nothing to suggest that she was being targeted or knew her killer.
